The Longhouse Council, Boy Scouts of America (BSA), is pleased to announce their BOYPOWER Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at the War Memorial in Syracuse. Proceeds from the 2018 BOYPOWER Dinner benefit over 4,200 local Scouts in Central and Northern New York. The Longhouse Council’s BOYPOWER Dinner is Central New York’s annual premier fundraising event.

This year's BOYPOWER Chairman Doug Logan is pleased to announce that the Longhouse Council, BSA is celebrating 50 years of BOYPOWER. The dinner event's speaker is former heavyweight boxer, actor and entrepreneur George Foreman and the Boy Scouts will be honoring Arnie and Libby Rubenstein whose diverse community involvement has spanned over 5 decades.
Monies raised from the event go directly to developing youth programs that promote positive development through mentoring and engaging youth in opportunities for individual growth and community connectedness. The Longhouse Council, BSA offers a Scout program to over 4,200 young boys and girls in six counties: Onondaga, Oswego, St. Lawrence, Lewis, Cayuga, and Jefferson.
